It can handle rigorous games with a 5-9/16'' OD gooseneck steel post that has a 6-foot safe play area. The durable, double ring breakaway rim features two 18'' diameter 5/8'' thick rings and a double spring flex breakaway mechanism that is able to stand up to player dunks during fierce basketball games. Easy no-tie net attachment of included nylon net. The full sized acrylic basketball backboard is made of 3/8'' thick UV-resistant acrylic that mimics professional glass systems, but is lighter and more durable than a glass board. This heavy duty basketball package system can withstand rough games on basketball courts in parks, school playgrounds, or military bases. Post padding is recommended for player safety and is not included.
