Product Description 15' Expanded Metal Bench with Back
This 15' Expanded Metal park bench with back is manufactured from 3/4" #9 flattened expanded metal. Both seat and backrest measure 11 1/2" wide for additional leg and back support. The legs are made from heavy tubular 2 3/8" galvanized steel, then powder coated in black to further protect against rust. You'll have a choice on the type and color of the finish. Custom colors are available by request with no additional charge. Colors may vary between different coatings. This expanded metal park bench is available in portable, inground or surface mounting systems.
Coating Types
Industry Standard Coating is a thermoplastic coating which is used by most site furnishing manufacturers. This coating does not react chemically during drying, rather the coating is "fused" to the metal using heat. The cooling process causes the coating to harden and gain strength. The Industry Standard Coating has a 5 year manufacturers warranty, and is available in 12 different colors.
The Advantage Coating costs more because it is a proprietary PVC coating that outperforms any other coating on the market today. We like this coating because it will not chip, crack or peel nor does it have any runs or drips and is graffiti resistant. The surface is non-porous which means it is impervious to stains, fungus, mold and mildew which runs commonly found on other plastisol products. The Advantage coating has a 7 year manufacturer's warranty. Without a doubt, this is the most durable coating out today and well worth the upcharge. The Advantage coating is available in 13 different colors.
The Textured coating offers a modern touch and is scratch and mar resistant with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty.
